Terms of Attendance & Participation

(For Physical Events or Programe)

By registering and attending the “World Award Convention” (conferences/ceremonies), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement with World Award Convention (WAC). If you are submitting a nomination on behalf of another individual or institution, you confirm that you have informed the attendee or participant about this Agreement and they have accepted its terms and conditions.

1. ATTENDEE REQUIREMENTS

  • Your registration grants you access to the Event, but all other expenses such as travel and accommodation are your responsibility, and WAC is not liable for these costs.
  • By attending the Event, you give WAC permission to capture your likeness and distribute the media without further approval or payment to you.
  • WAC reserves the right to make changes to any aspect of the Event, including the program, speakers, venue, and time.
  • You must provide photo identification at the time of check-in.
  • Attendee badges must be worn at all times in Event areas.
  • It is your responsibility to comply with any government Visa requirements, and failure to do so does not qualify for a refund.

2. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

  • You agree not to share, transfer, sell, or trade your badge.
  • Recording audio or video of sessions at the Event is prohibited, but cameras are allowed on the show floor for taking pictures.
  • WAC reserves the right to deny admission to anyone for any reason.

3. FEES

  • Payment: You must pay the registration fees when you register. If your payment is declined or insufficient, WAC may refuse your admission without any liability.
  • Taxes: You may be charged sales tax, value-added tax, or other taxes and duties in addition to the registration fees.
  • No Retroactive Fee Adjustments: WAC will not adjust your fees retroactively based on any discount, sponsorship, or other reason after you have registered.

4. CANCELLATION, SUBSTITUTION AND LOST BADGE POLICY

  • Attendee fees cannot be refunded by WAC.
  • Registration fees cannot be carried over to future events.
  • Attendees who later become speakers are not entitled to a refund of their paid fees.
  • Badges issued to attendees on site are non-transferable and cannot be changed or reissued to another person.
  • Registered attendees cannot convert their passes to complimentary sponsor passes.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • The intellectual property rights to the Event, the Event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are solely owned by WAC or the Event sponsors or speakers. You may not use or reproduce any trademarks or trade names displayed at the Event or in any Event-related materials without prior written permission from WAC.
  • This Agreement does not grant you any legal or beneficial right in or to any intellectual property rights owned by WAC or any license to any other intellectual property rights of WAC. All intellectual property rights of WAC shall remain exclusively with WAC.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • WAC provides no warranties regarding any aspect of the Event or any materials offered at the Event and disclaims all implied warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law, including warranties of accuracy, timeliness, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. The Event is provided “as is” and WAC assumes no responsibility or liability for any reliance placed on any aspect of the Event or information provided at the Event.
  • Except as required by law, WAC shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Event or any aspect related to it or this Agreement.
  • WAC’s total liability for any claim arising from the Event or this Agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise (including negligence), shall be limited to the amount paid by you to WAC under this Agreement.

8. MISCELLANEOUS

  • WAC reserves all of its rights, and any failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any such provision or right. WAC shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the parties agree to modify the provision to make it enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • This Agreement is not transferable, and any attempt to do so without WAC’s prior written consent is null and void. This Agreement shall be governed by the internal laws of India, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Gurgaon, India. If either party brings a legal action under this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
  • This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any previous written or oral agreements. Any modifications to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and WAC. You acknowledge that you have no authority to bind WAC in any way..
